Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Announces New Season

The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza celebrates its 19th season with over 300 performances slated to perform in the Plaza's two theatres: The Fred Kavli Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Janet and Ray Scherr Forum Theatre. The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation is the private non-profit in-house presenting division of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. The Foundation is privately funded and is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors with the Cultural Affairs Department administrative personnel providing volunteer staffing. The Foundation will be mailing a fall program guide with performance information to over nearly 200,000 residents in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Following is a partial list of the 2012-2013 performances, presented by the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation:

The Season Brochure will be mailed within the next month to residents in Ventura and Los Angeles Counties. It will also be viewable at www.CivicArtsPlaza.comThis brochure marks the first of what will be three mini-season brochures distributed in the coming year. This provides patrons with more up-to-date information on performances that have been added to the theatre's schedule throughout the season. A new "Choose Your Own" subscription plan has been added this season which allows patrons to build their own unique subscription series.
