The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation presents Lindsey Buckingham in the Fred Kavli Theatre at 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 6, 2012.

Fleetwood Mac front man and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham brings his solo acoustic performance in his debut at the Civic Arts Plaza. Buckingham has accomplished almost everything that can be done in rock ‘n’ roll, earning a spot in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac, winning countless awards, selling out venues around the world, and helping define the sound of rock for the last three decades. He’s the predominant musical force behind such legendary Fleetwood Mac albums asRumours and the innovative Tusk, and has created a critically acclaimed body of solo work that yielded the hits “Trouble,” “Go Insane,” and “Holiday Road.”

After 30 years signed to Warner Brothers, Buckingham is now an indie artist, releasing a new album on his own called “Seeds We Sow.”  The singer/songwriter, Grammy® winner and producer sees his sixth solo effort as his best work yet. Contentment and peace in his life are evident throughout the album. From the soft melodic pop/rock tinge of “End of Time” and its most rocking track, “One Take,” to the touching “When She Comes Down” and the almost lullaby-esque hushed tones of the gorgeous closing number, “She Smiles Sweetly,” the album showcases Buckingham’s full arsenal of skills.
